Ping Golf Men’s G20 Irons With Graphite Shaft
PING designers engineered extreme forgiveness and predictable distance control into the G20 irons.
The cavity’s floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) structure stabilizes the face. Its aluminum badge with elastomer heel and toe sections produces both a solid feel and sound. The CTP reinforces a 10% thinner face and controls distances while saving weight, which was added to the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head to increase the MOI. Combined with PING’s new CFS steel shaft (control, feel and stability), the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. Consistent yardage gapping is a key benefit of the G20 set, which includes high-launching long irons that maximize the overall range and predictability of a player’s set.
The G20 Irons are designed to deliver superior distance, control, accuracy, and performance. Forgiveness and accuracy are achieved through extreme perimeter weighting in the 17-4 stainless steel head. A multi-material cavity badge made of soft elastomer improves feel and sound while enhancing distance control, allowing you to play your best golf.
Consistent, precise distance control was achieved by using a thin face backed by a floating CTP structure. Weight in the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head increases the MOI. Combined with PING’s new CFS steel shaft, the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. The hosel-to-head transition and clean appearance of the G20’s inspire confidence at address that the ball will launch clean and easy from any lie on the course.

Distance Control

. All lofts will be offered for complete customization. Don’t be surprised to see the G20 woods and hibrids sporting a new head shape – something akin to the new Burner series from TaylorMade. The new shape is more forgiving for the weekend golfer but can still be worked. This will assist in differentiate the series from the Rapture line. Ping continues to receive strong demand for a return of the TISI woods and may offer a new TISI line of woods and hybrids with traditional shapes for the better player. Also look for a new line of putters that will incorporate new materials.
